Here are my lovely horses, this is where my other passion lies, I love showing, riding and training horses.. They bring me so much joy in life and keep me balanced on those stressful days..
As a German I always dreamed of having something that truely stated an american symbol and what better then a Mustang.. but unfortunatly I have a Spanish Mustang.. Now what does that mean. well it means 1 of 2 things, an american mustang is more docile and easier to train and are very loyal and easy going. A spanish mustang, well they are hard headed, hot tempered, mean and tend to be a little bit more farile then the american kind. Sassy is a Sulfar Spanish Mustang. For those of you who know this type may already be cringing in your seats, For those who don't know this type, here is a easy explanation, they are rarely ever captured and sold at BLM auctions, mainly because up in the Sulfar plains in Ohio it's very rural and hard to get to.. So the few Sulfar Mustangs that are accidenlty caught are usually released again, since they have hardly or NO human contact.. Now how did I get my hands on this crazy horse.. I got her in a trade for an older horse I was retiring.. it seemed like a fair trade when I did it , Until the true nature of the best came out. This horse must have sent me to the hospital over a dozen times, with rolling on me, rearing and flipping on me, bucking me off, throwing me in to cars, and etc.. so why do I keep her.. I LOVE HER..lol.. Honestly this horse is the safest mount I ever had when it comes to cross-country jumping, endurance racing and etc.. Of course we had a DNA test done on her.. just to see what her bloodline entitles and not only is it a requirement to get her registered under the Spanish Colonial Horse Society.. it was also very interesting to see what she carried..
Sassy is 1/3 Paso Fino , 1/3 Andalusian and 1/3 Spanish Barb..can you say HOT.. all HOT tempered horses..lol.. but very loyal.. and she is too.. even when she dumps me she has never left me.. okay well enjoy the pics. and my small video.

I'm alway's blessed when I can save a life, DeeDee was in a very neglectful home, I received her as payment for riding lessons, and when I saw her I was like "Are you kidding me!!" this little horse was very malnourished, foundered on all four feet from neglect, and she had a broken jaw, which we ended up relocating. She was so filthy it was heart breaking, I spend a week sleeping in the pen with her to get her back to health, force fed her since she didn't even know what food was, not to mention she was a weanling.. the vet gave me 2 wks. and a bottle of penazilin.. I didn't give up and now this little horse is the best thing in the world. Not to mention she is double registered under the Miniature Horse Society, and the UK Caspian Horse Society.. which makes this horse worth more then those riding lessons..LOL SCORE!! she is now 1yr and 4 months old.. and looks absolutely stunning.
